Hey Jud, sorry for the delay in responding, the internet here has been terrible for about a week. I am feeling better, all I needed was a couple days of rest and some Tylenol. I don't know exactly what it was, all I had was a high fever and an intermittent headache. My best guess is that is was something viral that needed a few days to work itself out of my system. I guess that falls into the "it was bound to happen sooner or later" category. In any event I seem to have recovered and am none the worse for wear.

Number 5 is an oldie. I remember one of my teachers telling me that one when I was there 10 years ago! I'm sure she won't remember me, but give Kitty Schmidt--my favorite Instituto teacher--my best! And enjoy, it's a great place!

If you have time when the rainy season starts (say, early December), take a daytime bus up to La Paz and sit on the RIGHT-hand side next to a window. Once the rain starts and the Andes turn green, it is one of the most beautiful sights in the world.
